A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONSOLIDATION OF REVOLUTION AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEES

WHEREAS, in order to enable the Ethiopian people to de termine their own affairs and to build new life in freedom, peace. and unity in accordance with the National Democratic Revolu tion Programme, it has been realized that the tempo of the on celerate forward without giving any respite to reactionary forces ;
WHEREAS, it has been deemed necessary to channel the activities and organization of Government and mass organiza tions in a coordinated revolutionary line so as to ensure that the broad masses of Ethiopia who are the victors of the Revolution ,
Motherland and attack and destroy those enemies who from time to time challenge the Revolution with a view to making the Revolution achieve its ultimate goal ;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to mobilize full moral, mate rial and other support of the whole people to the forces who are volution and the Revolutionary Motherland; to organize the acti vities of Government bodies, mass organizations and other ser vices on the basis of the problems and wants of the broad mas ses and to increase production with coordinated, common efforts with a view to making the Revolution achieve its ultimate goal ;
