OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA ADDIS ABABA - 15 May , 2003 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 338 / 2003.7 International Development Association Credit Agreement for Financing Ethiopian Social Rehabilitation and Development Fund Project Page 2184 PROCLAMATION NO . 338/2003 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AGREEMENTAMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT CREDIT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS , an Agreement Amending the Development provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia an financing the Ethiopian Social Rehabilitation and Develop ment Fund Project , was signed in Washington D.C. the 19th WHEREAS , basic Economic International Agreements have to be ratified prior to entre into force ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 15 % day of May , 2003 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Article ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows . 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ International Development Association Credit Agreement for Finan cing Ethiopian Social Rehabilitation and Deyelopment Fund Project Ratification Proclamation No. 338/2003 . " Unit Price The African Law Archive * In this Proclamation " Credit Agreement ” means the · Clit Agreement Number 2841-1ET signed in Washington D.C. on the 19th day of February , 2003 , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development As sociation . 3. Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Develop ment is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the utilization of the Credit amount of SDR 21,500,000 ( Twenty one million five hundred thousand Special Drawing Rights ) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Loan Agreement . 4. Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force on the 15 day of May , 2003 . Done at Addis Ababa , this 15 day of May , 2003 .
