A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE DEVELOPMENT FINANCING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS , a Development Financing Agreement , International Development Association stipulating that the ፲፯ ቀን ፪ሺ፬ | for financing Productive Safety Nets Project was signed in Washington DC on 17th December 2004 ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Represent has ratified said Development Financing Agreement at its session held on the 1st day of February , 2005 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Article ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may cited " International Development Association Develop Financing Agreement Financing Productive Safety Nets Project Ratification Proclamation No. 441/2005 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive 2. Definition In this Proclamation “ Development Financing Agreement ” means the Credit Number 4004ET signed in Washington DC on the 17th December 2004 between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association . 3. Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the utilization of the credit amount of 9,800,000 SDR ( nine million eight hundred thousand SDR ) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement . Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force on 18th day of February , 2005 . Done at Addis Ababa , this 18th day of February , 2005 .
