A proclamation to provide the retification of Bamako WHEREAS , the Bamako Convention on the Ban of the movements and management of Hazardus Wastes Within Africa was adopted on 30 January , 1991 ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representaives of Bamako Convention at its session held on the 3rdday of July , 2003 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Articles Republic of Ethiopia , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Short Title This proclamation may be cited as the Convention Ratification Proclamation No. 355/2003 " Ratification of the convention The Bamako Convention on the Ban of the import into Africa and the Control of Transboundary Movements and Management of Hazardous Wastes Within Africa , adopted on the 30th day of January , 1991 , is hereby ratified .
