REGULATIONS ISSUED PURSUANT TO THE CUSTOMS IMPORT'AND EXPORT DUTIES PROCLAMATION, 1943
1. Issuing Authority
These Regulations are issued by the Ministry of Finance pursuant to the authority vested in it under Article 5 (a) of the Customs and Export Duties Proclamation, 1943, as amended.

2. Short Title
These Regulations may be cited as the " Coffee Surtax (Amendment) Regulations No. 46/1976 ”.
3. Amendment and Repeal
(1) Article 5 of the Coffee Surtax (Amendment) Regula tions, 1964 (Legal Notice No. 280 of 1964), is amended to read as follows: The African Law Archive *
" 5. There shall be a corresponding increase in surtax for every one U.S. cent increase: a) from 30 upto 50 U.S. cents per pound.. Birr 1.00 per 100 kg above 50 upto 100 U.S. cents per pound...
b)
Birr 2.00 per 100 kg
c) above 100 U.S. cents per pound.. respectively, of coffee price as hereof. ”
(2) The Coffee Surtax (Amendment) Regulations, 1970. are hereby repealed.
Birr 3.00 per 100 kg. defined in Article 4
4. Effective Date
These Regulations shall come into force on the date of
