A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ETHIOPIAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, it has been found indispensiable to select, support and encourage those that contribute to the National Economic development from among Science and Technology activities that are undertaken through out the country and
and technology dependency ;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to support Ethiopia's all rounded effort with Science and Technology to increase productivity in social and economic sectors, particularly in agriculture, indu stry and service sectors to satisfy the basic needs of the people ;
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to re - establish Science and Technology Commission to develop National Sci ence and Technology capability in Scope and Quality and
Technology activities ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 9 (d)
of the Transitional Period Charter, it is hereby proclaimed as follows.
