PROCLAMATION NO . 468/2005 .
A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE
REGULATION OF TRANSPRT
WHEREAS , the economic and social development
efficient ;
WHEREAS , the transport sector has to be restructured in a manner to create favorable conditions for the smooth and effective implementation of the government transport policy ;
WHEREAS , it has become necessary to clearly ተግባር | define the powers and duties of the executive organs at
the federal and state levels with regard to transport
NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article የሚከተለው | 55 ( ) of the Constitution , of the Federal Democratic
Republic of Ethiopia , it is hereby proclaimed as follows :
PART ONE GENERAL
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Transport Proclamation No. 468/2005 . ”
