SAVINGS BONDS REGULATIONS, 1975
1. Issuing Authority
These Regulations are issued by the Minister of Finance (hereinafter the Minister) pursuant to authority vested in. him by Article 9 of the Government Bonds Proclamation, 1969 (Proclamation No. 262 of 1969).

Short Title
These Regulations may be cited as the " Savings Bonds Regulations No. 3/1975. "
Issue of Savings Bonds
Savings Bonds of 1975 shall be issued in the total principal face value of Eth. $ 30,000,000 (Thirty Million Ethiopian Dollars) and shall have the following characteristics: (1) their date of issue shall be 10th March 1975
(2) their date of maturity shall be 9th March 1985
(3) they shall bear interest at the rate of seven per cent (7%) per annum from the date of issue, payable semi months of Yekatit and Pagume each year ;
(4) they shall be issued in denominations of one thousand
(5) they shall be numbered consecutively ,
(6) they shall be coupon bonds ,
(7) they shall be bearer bonds ;
(8) they shall bear the facsimile signature of the Minister ;
