PROCLAMATION NO. 301 OF 1972
A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF TRADE AND PRICE

WHEREAS, it is desirable to prohibit trade practices which are deterimental to the development of free competition and to regulate price and other trade practices in order to pro tect the public from actual or potential acts of unfair trade ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 34 and
Chamber of Deputies and Senate and We proclaim as follows:
WHEREAS, powers should exist to prevent unwarranted increases in prices of goods and services and to ensure the equitable distribution of goods in times of irregular or short supply ;
2. Repeals
WHEREAS, it is desirable, therefore, to promulgate comprehensive law for the regulation of domestic trade ;
1, Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Regulation of Trade and Price Proclamation, 1972. "
The following laws are hereby repealed:
(1) The Imported Goods Price Control Proclamation No. 38 of 1943, as amended by Proclamation No. 46 of 1944 and all Legal Notices, Orders and Regulations made thereunder ;
(2) The Locally Produced Goods Price Control Procla mation No. 53 of 1944 and all Legal Notices, Orders, and Regulations made thereunder ;
