A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE DEVELOPMENT CREDIT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS , a Credit Agreement , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association stipulating that the International Development Association provide to the Federal Democratic one hundred thousand SDR ) for Assisted Development Project , was signed in Washington DC on 4th day of January , 2005 ; ratified said Development Credit Agreement at its session held on the 26th day of May , 2005 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows ; 1. Definition In this Proclamation “ Development Credit Agreement ” means the Credit Number 3985ET signed in Washington DC on the 4th January 2005 between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association . 3. Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the utilization of the credit amount of 17,100,000 SDR ( seventeen million one hundred thousand SDR ) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Development Credit Agreement . 4.
