PROCLAMATION NO. 258 of 1968
A Proclamation to authorize the Minister of Finance to expend out of public revenue up to
Eth. $ 9,000,000 (Nine Million Ethiopian Dollars)
CONQUERING LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH HAILE SELASSIE I
ELECT OF GOD, EMPEROR OF ETHIOPIA
WHEREAS, the security and economic development of Our Empire urgently require additional appropriation ;
WHEREAS, the current budgetary appropriations for the fiscal year 1960 E.C., totalling Eth. $ 378,463,364 (Three hundred seventy eight Million four hundred sixty three Thou sand three hundred sixty four Ethiopian Dollars) are now found to be insufficient; and
WHEREAS, Article 10 of the Budget Proclamation No. 248 of 1967 does not provide for expending additional funds over and above the total amount indicated therein
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Articles 30, 34, 88 and 118 of Our Revised Constitution, We approve the reso lution of Our Chamber of Deputies and Senate, and We here by proclaim as follows:
1. This Proclamation may be cited as the " Supplemen tary Budget Proclamation, 1960 E.C. "
