WHEREAS, at this stage where the Ethiopian peasantry, in
accordance with the historic and revolutionary proclamation that
a life and death struggle against landlords and thereby having become the owner of its land, is struggling to overcome the pre
sary to provide a framework that would facilitate the hastening of this transition ;
WHEREAS, it being evident that the establishment of pea
in its political struggle and struggle for production, it has become
these associations, service cooperatives and cooperative farms and consolidate and coordinate the same on the guiding principle of self - reliance ;
