LEGAL NOTICE No. 333 of 1967.
Weights and Measures Regulations Issued under the Weights and Measures Proclamation of 1963 (No. 208 of 1963)
1. These Regulations are issued pursuant to authority vested in the Minister of Commerce and Industry by Article 13 of the " Weights and Measures Proclamation, 1963 (No. 208 of 1963) hereinafter referred to as the " Proclamation ".

These Regulations may be cited as the " Weights and Measures Regulations, 1967 ".
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) " Measuring instrument " shall include any weight, scale, linear, or volumetric measuring instrument ;
(b) " User " shall mean any person who uses any measur ing instrument in the course of trade or has any measuring instrument used for such purpose under his control, but shall not include a householder or a house - wife using any such measuring instrument for domestic use ;

(c) " Inspectorate " shall mean the Inspectorate of Weights and Measures in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry established by Article 11 of the Procla mation ;
(d) " Minister " or " Ministry " shall mean respectively the Minister or the Ministry of Commerce and In dustry ;
(e) " Inspector General " shall mean the person designat ed by the Minister to be the Inspector General of Weights and Measures and performing such of the duties and functions of the Minister under the Pro clamation, as are delegated to him ;
