PROCLAMATION No. 197 OF 1980
A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL TOBACCO AND MATCHES CORPORATION
WHEREAS, in accordance with the ministerial reorgani nation, it has become necessary to establish a body which would carry out the manufacturing, trading and other related activities of the former Tobacco State Monopoly under the supervision of the relevant Government Department ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of Powers and Responsibilities of the Pro visional Military Administrative Council and the Council of Ministers Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " National Tobacco and Matches Corporation Establishment Proclamation No.
2. Repeal
The Tobacco Regie Proclamation No. 30/1942 as amen ded and all regulations issued under it are hereby repealed.
