A PROCLAMATION
TO AMEND THE LEGAL TENDER CURRENCY NOTES LEGISLATIONS STRENGTHENING PROCLAMATION

In accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of the Powers and Responsibilities of the Provisional Military Adminis tration Council and the Council of Ministers Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Legal Tender Currency Notes Legislations Strengthening Proclamation (Amendment) Proclamation No. 132/1977. "
2. Amendment
Article 4 of the Legal Tender Currency Notes Legislations Strengthening Proclamation No. 100 of 1976 is amended by the addition of the following new sub - article 3:
" 3. Any person, natural or juridical, who violates the Legal Tender Currency Coins Regulations No. 57/1977 shall, on conviction by the Special Court Martial, be liable to a fine of up to 50,000 (Fifty Thousand) Birr or imprisonment of up to 10 (ten) years or both. ”
