Page 693 PROCLAMATION No . 100 / 1998 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 43 ( 2 ) OF THE CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD WHEREAS , at the conference of States Parties held on 12 December 1995 , Ethiopia adopted the amendment to Article 43 paragraph ( 2 ) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child , which it had earlier ratified ; WHEREAS , the Amendment approved by the General into force subject to acceptance by a two - thirds majority of States Parties , pursuant to Article 50 paragraph ( 2 ) of the Convention ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Unit Price call www .
