1. Short Title
This Regulation is issued by the Council of Ministers pursuant to Article 5 of the Definition of Powers and Duties of the Executive Organs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Higher Education Proclamation No. 650/2009.
2. Establishment
1 / The Bahir Dar University (hereinafter the " University ") is hereby re - established as an autonomous higher education public institution having its own legal personality.
2 / The University shall be accountable to the Ministry of Education.
3 / The University shall be governed by the Higher Education Proclamation No. 650/2009 and the Federal Universities Council of Ministers Regulation No.210 / 2011.
