A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the
NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 9 (d) of the Transitional Period Charter, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Electoral Law of Ethiopia Amendment Proclamation No. 96/1994 ". 2. Amendment
The African Law Archive
is hereby amended by the deletion of sub - article 1 (d) of Article 38 and replacing it by the following new sub - article
" d presents endorsement signature of not less than five hundred (500) registered electors from within the con stituency of his candidature if his candidature is not endor sed by a political organization. "
Effective Date.
This Proclamation shall come into force as of the 8th day of April 1994.
