A PROCLAMATION TO ESTABLISH THE ETHIOPIAN TRANSPORT CONSTRUCTION, AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, the expansion of an efficient transport service is essential to the socio - economic development of a nation ;
WHEREAS, the establishment of a government organ has been found necessary for transport construction to pave the way
WHEREAS, bringing the scattered road, air, railway and port construction under a centralized system of different briga des is paramount to the expansion of transport service struc tures ;
WHEREAS, it is essential to encourage the masses, through mass organizations, to participate in a coordinated manner in the. field of transport construction ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of the Powers and Responsibilities of the Provisional Military Administration Council and the Council of Ministers Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
