OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 8th Year No. 9 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 263/2002 Recess and Time - in - Session of the House of Peoples ' Representatives ( Amendment ) Proclamation Page 1678 PROCLAMATION NO . 263/2002 A PROCLAMATION TO AMEND THE RECESS AND TIME - IN - SESSION PROCLAMATION OF THE HOUSE OF PEOPLES ' REPRESENTATIVES WHEREAS , it has become necessary to amend the recess and time - in - Session Proclamation of the House of Peoples ' Representatives ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 ( 1 ) and 58 ( 2 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Recess and Time - in - Session of the House of Peoples ' Represen tatives ( Amendment ) Proclamation No. 263/2002 . ” 2. Amendment The Recess and Time - in - session of the House of Peoples ' Representatives Proclamation No. 32/1996 is amended as follows : 1 / Article 2 of the Proclamation is amended as follows : Unit Price The African Law Archive - No.9 3 January , 2002- ~ Page 1679 2. Recess " The annual recess of the House of Peoples ' Representatives shall be from the 1st day of Yekatit ( 81h of February ) to the 30th day of Yekatit ( 9th of March ) and from the 1 " day of Hamle ( 8th of July ) to the eve of Monday of the final week of the month of Meskerem ( September ) . " 2. Article 3 of the Proclamation is amended as follows : 3. Time - in - Session ' ' The annual time - in - session of the House of People's Representatives shall be from Monday of the final week of the month of Meskerem ( Septem ber ) to the 30th day of Tir ( 7th of February ) and from the 1st day of Megabit ( 104h of March ) to the 30th day of Sene ( 71h of July ) . " 3. Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force as of the 3rd day of January , 2002 . Done at Addis Ababa , this 3rd day of January , 2002 .
