This Regulation is issued by the Council of Ministers pursuant to Article 5 of the Definition of Powers and Duties of the Executive Organs of the Federal Democratic Republic the Higher Education Proclamation No. 650/2009.

This Regulation may be cited as the " Axum University Establishment Council of Ministers Regulation No. 225/2011.
Establishment
1 / Axum University (hereinafter the " University ") is hereby established as an autonomous higher education public institution having its own legal personality.
2 / The University shall be accountable to the Ministry of Education.

Education Proclamation No. 650/2009 and the Federal Universities Council of Ministers Regulation No. 210/2011.
