A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND REST DAY
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 6 of the Definition of Powers of the Provisional Military Administration Council and its Chairman Proclamation No. 2/1974, it is here. by proclaimed as follows:

This Proclamation may be cited as the " Public Holidays and Rest Day Proclamation No. 16/1975. ”

The Public Holidays and Suday Observance Proclamation of 1956 (Proclamation No. 151 of 1956) is hereby re pealed.
Public Holidays and Rest Day
(1) The following public holidays shall be observed as Public Holidays:
(a) New Year's Day and the Eritrean Reunion with
(b) Popular Revolution Commemoration Day September 12 ;
