ELECT OF GOD, EMPEROR OF ETHIOPIA
WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement was signed on 17th day of August, 1967 among the Imperial Ethiopian Government, the tes of America, acting through the Agency for International Development, providing for the lending by the Agency for International Development to the Ethiopian Investment Cor poration of the sum not to exceed Eight Million United Sta tes Dollars (US $ 8,000,000) (hereinafter the " Loan "), to fi nance investments and loans by the Ethiopian Investment and agricultural activities and the procurement of professio nal services related to such activities; and
WHEREAS, the Imperial Ethiopian Government shall repay to the Agency for International Development the prin cipal of and the interest on the Loan in accordance with the repayment schedule and on the terms set forth in the Loan Agreement as applicable thereto, and the Ethiopian Invest ment Corporation shall repay to the Imperial Ethiopian Go vernment the principal of and the interest on the Loan in accordance with the repayment schedule and on the terms set forth in the Loan Agreement as applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS, Our Chamber of Deputies and Senate have duly approved the Agreement; and
