Proclamation No. 195 of 1980
WHEREAS, an Exchange of Letters between the Pro visional Military Government of Socialist Ethiopia and the
the granting by the Government of the German Democratic Re public to the Government of Socialist Ethiopia of a loan in the amount of fifty five million (55,000,000) U.S. dollars to finance the importation of complete plants from the German Democra tic Republic was signed on the 15th day of November 1979, and
WHEREAS, the said Exchange of Letters has been sub mitted to the Council of Ministers for approval and has obtained its approval; and

WHEREAS, the Provisional Military Administrative Council on the 10th day of October, 1980 has ratified the
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of Powers and Responsibilities of the Provisional Military Administrative Council and the Council of Minister's Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaim ed as follows:
Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " German Democ ratic Republic Credit Approval Proclamation No. 195 /
Definition
In this Proclamnation, “ Exchange of Letters ” shall mean the Exchange of Letters between the Provisional Military Government of Socialist Ethiopia and the Government of the German Democratic Republic signed on the 15th day of November 1979.
