Page 2658 PROCLAMATION NO.408 / 2004 A PROCLAMATION TO AMEND THE ADDIS ABABA CITY GOVERNMENT REVISED CHARTER PROCLAMATION WHEREAS , it has become necessary to amend the Addis Ababa City Government Revised Charter Proclamation No. 361/2003 ; lived NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 ( 1 ) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Repu blic of Ethiopia , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Addis Ababa City Government Revised Charter ( Amendment ) Proclamation No. 408/2004 . ” 2. Amendment The Addis Ababa City Government Revised Charter proclamation No. 361/2003 is here by amended as follows . 11 Sub Article ( 1 ) “ h ” of Article 41 of the proclamation is hereby deleted and replaced by the following new Sub - Article 1 , ' h ' . “ h . application for certificates of succession , marriage and guardianship ” Unit Price 230 The African Law Archive 15 June , 2004. Page 2659 2 / Sub - Aticle ( 2 ) “ c ” of Article 41 of the proclamation is hereby deleted and replaced by the following new Sub - Article 2 , / c / . " c . without prejudice to the jurisdiction of federal courts on the substance of federal offenses , cases brought in accordance with Article 33 , 35 , 53 and 59 of the code of criminal procedure of 1961 " 3 / The following new Sub - Article ( 10 ) is added under Article 66 of the proclamation : “ 10. cases pending before the Addis Ababa Municipal Courts , but do not fall under jurisdiction of the Addis Ababa City Court in accordance with Proclamation 361/2003 shall continue to be adjudicated by the city court . ” 3.
