OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 7 " Year No. 42 ADDIS ABABA – 6 " July , 2001 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 252/2001 Agreement Amending the International Develop ment Association Credit Agreement for Financing the National Fertilizer Sector Project Ratification Proclamation PROCLAMATION NO . 252/2001 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AGREEMENT AMENDING THE CREDIT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS , a Credit Agreement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association stipulaiing that the International ( cighly two million nine hundred thousand Special Drawing Rights ) for financing the National Fertilizer Project was signed on the 29th day of September 1995 ; WHEREAS , an Amending Agreement stipulating that seven hundred thousaand Special Drawing Rights ) in support of the Project has been signed in Washington D.C. on the 19 " WHEREAS , basic economic international agreements have to be ratified prior to entry into force ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of Amending Agreement at its session held on the 6 ' ' day of July . NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Short Title This 1 " . clamation ma be cited as the “ Agreement Amending the International Development Association Credit Agreement for Financing the National Fertilizer Sector Project Ratification Proclamation No. 252/2001 . " . Unit Price The African Law Archive Definition In this Proclamation “ Amending the Agreement " means the Agreement Amending Development Credit Agreement No. 2740-1 - ET signed on the 18 ' ' day of July , 2001 between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Develop ment Association . Power of the Minister of Finance The Minister of Finance is hereby empowered 10 undertake all acts necessary for the utilization of the Credit amount of SDR 34,700,000 ( thirty four million seven hundred thousand Special Drawing Rights ) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Amending Agreement .
