WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Excise Tax Proclamation ,

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (11) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
2. Amendment
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Excise Tax (Amendment) Proclamation No. 570/2008 ”.
The Excise Tax Proclamation No. 307/2002 is hereby amended as follows:
1 / Article 5 Sub - Article 2 is repelled and amended by the following new Sub - Article 2.1
" 2. In respect of goods imported, cost, insurance, freight (C.I.F) and customs duty payable thereon. ”
The following new Sub - Article 6 is added after Sub - Article 5 of Article 7.
