COUNCIL OF MINISTERS REGULATIONS TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF KALITY CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS PRODUCTION ENTERPRISE . These Regulations are issued by the Council of Ministers , Ethiopia proclamation No. 4/1995 and Article 47 ( 1 ) ( a ) of the Public Enterprises proclamation No. 25/1992 . 1. Short Title These Regulations may be cited as the “ Kality Construc tion Materials Production Enterprise Establishment Council of Ministers Regulations No.45 / 1998 . ” . 2. Establishment There is hereby established the Kality Construction Materials Production Enterprise ( hereinafter “ the enterprise " ) as a public enterprise . 2. The Enterprise shall be governed by the public Enterprise proclamation No. 25/1992 . 3. Supervising Authority A body to be designated by the government shall be the supervising authority of the Enterprise . 4. Head Office The Enterprise shall have its head office in Addis Ababa ( Kality ) . Unit Price 2.30 The African Law Archive No. 18 8 December , 1998 – Page 916 5. Objectives The objectives for which the enterprise is established shall be : 1 ) Production of metal and wooden products for cons truction works ; 2 ) Production of concrete elements ( products ) for sales ; Production of Oxygen and Nitrogen products for sales ; 4 ) To engage in any other related activities for the attainment of its objectives . 6. Capital The authorized capital of the Enterprise shall be Birr - 44,194,523.00 ( forty four million one hundred ninety four thousand five hundred twenty three Birr ) of which Birr 31,776,751.00 ( thirty one million seven hundred seventy six thosand seven hundred fifty one Birr ) is paid up in cash and in kind . The Enterprise shall not be liable beyond its total assets . Duration The Enterprise is established for an indefinite duration . Effective Date These Regulations shall enter into force on the date of Done at Addis Ababa , this gth day of December 1998 .
