A PROCLAMATION TO APPROVE A LOAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PROVISIONAL MILITARY GOVERNMENT OF SOCIALIST ETHIOPIA AND THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT FUND

WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement between the Provisional
Development Fund providing for the granting by the African
Thousand (16,100,000) Birr [ Seven Million (7,000,000) Units of Account ] to finance the Jimma - Chida Road Project was
WHEREAS, the said Loan Agreement has been submitted to the Council of Ministers for approval and has obtained its
WHEREAS, the Provisional Military Administration Council on the 30th day of December, 1977 has ratified the said Loan Agreement ;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of the Powers and Responsibilities of the Pro visional Military Administration Council and the Council of Mi nisters Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " African Develop ment Fund Loan Agreement for the Jimma - Chida Road Project Proclamation No. 137/1978 ”.
2. Definition
In this Proclamation. " Loan Agreement " shall mean the Loan Agreement between the Provisional Military Govern ment of Socialist Ethiopia and the African Development Fund signed on the 13th day of December 1977.
