REGULATIONS ISSUED PURSUANT TO THE CUSTOMS IMPORT AND EXPORT DUTIES PROCLAMATION, 1943

1. These Regulations are issued by the Minister of Finance pursuant to authority vested in him by Article 5 (a) of the Customs Import and Export Duties Proclamation, 1943 (Proclamation No. 39 of 1943).

2. These Regulations may be cited as the " Coffee Surtax Re bate Regulations, 1969. "
3. A. rebate of fifty percent (50%) will be applied on the Sur tax charged, levied and collected according to the " Coffee Surtax Regulations, 1964 " (Legal Notice No. 280 of 1964), in respect of all coffee exported from Ethiopia. This rebate will be deducted from the Surtax due, at the time of collection of the said Surtax.
4. These Regulations shall come into force upon the date of their publication in the Negarit Gazeta and shall remain in force during the period of up to and including the day of 30th Septebmer, 1969.
