PROCLAMATION NO.541 / 2007.
A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT CONSERVATION AND UTILIZATION OF WILDLIFE
WHEREAS, unplanned and inappropriate utilize ation of wildlife has resulted in their depletion and endangered existence ;
WHEREAS, the conservation of wildlife under taken so far is not productive ;
WHEREAS, the proclamations, regulations and directives issued previously and still in force are not in
state structure ;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to enhance the contribution of the wildlife sector towards poverty reduction strategy by maximizing the economic and social benefit to be derived from the wildlife resource ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Articles s (1) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
