Page 697 PROCLAMATION No . 101 / 1998 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AIR TRANSPORT SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA WHEREAS , an Air Transport Service Agreement , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of South Africa , was signed in Cape Town , on the 145 Day of May , 1997 ; WHEREAS , it is stipulated in the Agreement that the Agreement shall come into force on the date on which the Contracting Parties have notified each other , through diplomatic channels , of the fulfilment of their constitutional international agreements ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Agreement at its session held on the 3rd day of March , 1998 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Unit PACE 1carLawArchive . com * * * The African Law Archive * * * www .
