OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 9th Year No. 37 ADDIS ABABA - 6 " February , 2003 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 319/2003 Ethio - Korean Trade Agreement Ratification Proclamation Page 2107 PROCLAMATION NO . 319/2003 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE ETHIO - KOREA REPUBLIC TRADE AGREEMENT WHEREAS , an Agreement on trade between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Korea was signed in Addis Ababa on the 3rd day of June , 2002 ; WHEREAS , it is stipulated in the Agreement that the other that all legal requirements for its entry into force have been fulfilled ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives has ratified said Agreement at its session held on the 6th day of February , 2003 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with sub - Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of Article 55 of the Constitution , it is hereby Proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the " Ethio - Korea Republic Trade Agreement Ratification Proclamation No. 319/2003 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive -- No. 37 6 February , 2003- ~ - Page 2108 2. Ratification of the Agreement The Ethio - Korea Republic Trade Agreement signed in Addis Ababa on the 3rd day of June , 2002 is ratified . The Ministry of Trade and Industry is hereby empowered to implement the Agreement . 4. Effective Date This Proclamation shall come into force as of the 6'h day of February , 2003 .
