TUY WHEREAS, recognizing that telecom fraud is a serious threat to the national security beyond economic losses ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

GENERAL
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Telecom Fraud Offence Proclamation No. 761/2012 ".
