PROCLAMATION NO. 307 OF 1972
A PROCLAMATION TO AMEND THE TRANSACTION TAXES PROCLAMATION, 1963 AS AMENDED
Pursuant to Articles 34 and 88 of Our Constitution, We approve the resolutions of Our Chamber of Deputies and Senate and We hereby Proclaim as follows:

Short title:
This Proclmation may be cited as " Transaction Taxes (Amendment) Proclamation, 1972 ”.
The Transaction Taxes Proclamation No. 205 of 1963 as amended by Proclamation No. 254 of 1967, herein toge ther referred to as " the Principal Proclamation " is amended as follows:
In article 5 (a) (i) of the Principal Proclamation, the words and figures " twelve per cent (12%) " are deleted and replaced by " fifteen per cent (15%) ".
Scope of Application:
The new rate shall apply to all goods imported and which have not been cleared through Customs on the date of the coming into force of this Proclamation. Effective Date:
