OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 6th Year No. 8 ADDIS ABABA - 25 December , 1999 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 186/1999 Ethio Yemen Agreement on Culture Ratification Proclamation PROCLAMATION NO . 186/1999 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE ETHIO - YEMEN AGREEMENT ON CULTURE WHEREAS , an Agreement on culture , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Yemen , was signed in Sana'a on the 15ch day of April , 1999 ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Agreement at its session held on the 2nd day of December , NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Ethio - Yemen Agreement on Culture Ratification Proclamation No. The Agreement on Culture between the Federal De mocratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Yemen signed in Sana'a on the 15th day of April , 1999 , is ratified . 3. Power of the Ministry of Information and Culture The Ministry of Information and Culture is hereby empowered to implement the Agreement . 4.
