ORDER No. 75 OF 1971
WHEREAS, Article 130 of Our Constitution of 1955 im bues Our Government with a trust for the protection of the na tural resources of the Empire, including water, and charges
their conservation; and

WHEREAS, in order to provide for the more efficient de velopment of, and coordination of activities relating to water ,
sible for all matters relating to the investigation, use, control, protection, management and administration of the water resour ces of the Empire ;
WHEREAS, Article 1228 of the Civil Code requires that
a competent authority be appointed to control and protect cer tain water for the use of the community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 27 of Our Constitution and on the advice of Our Council of Ministers, We order as follows:
This Order may be cited as the " National Water Resources Commission Order, 1971 ".
