Coffee Certificates of Origin Regulations.
LEGAL NOTICE No. 308 of 1965
These Regulations may be cited as the " Coffee Certifica tes of Origin Regulations, 1965 ”.
In these Regulations unless the context otherwise re quires:
" Coffee " means the beans and berries of the coffee tree, whether parchment, green or roasted and includes Ground, decaffeinated, liquid and soluble coffee; " Certificate of Origin " means a Certificate of Origin in Form A in the Schedule to these Regulations issued by the appropriate certifying agency ;
a Certificate of Re " Certificate of Re - export " means export in Form B in the Schedule to these Regulations issued by the appropriate Certifying Agency ;
“ Certifying Agency ” means an agency for issuing Certi ficates of Origin or of Re - export and designated in accor dance with Article 44 (1) of the International Coffee Agreement ;
" Certifying Officer " means the Officer so appointed by the Certifying Agency.
All coffee grown in the territory of the Empire of Ethio pia and destined abroad shall be covered by a Certificate
