A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF JOINT VENTURE
WHEREAS, the primary objective of the Ethiopian Revo lution is the all - round development of the national economy and the achievement of a higher standard of living for the
WHEREAS, the participation of foreign capital with in the realization of the objectives mentioned above ;
WHEREAS, to this end, it is necessary to lay down the of joint ventures ;

WHEREAS, in order to build a strong national economy and achieve a higher standard of living, it is necessary to deve lop the natural resources of the country ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of Powers and Responsibilities of the Pro visional Military Administrative Council and the Council of Ministers Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

GENERAL
1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Joint Venture Establishment Proclamation No. 235/1983 ".
