November , 1999 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 181/1999 Transfer of the Monopoly Right of the National Tobacco Enterprise to the National Tobacco Enter proclamation Page 1173 PROCLAMATION No.181 / 1999 A PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE MONOPOLY RIGHT OF THE NATIONAL TOBACCO ENTERPRISE TO THE NATIONAL TOBACCO ENTERPRISE ( ETHIOPIA ) SHARE COMPANY WHEREAS , the National Tobacco Enterprise has been WHEREAS , it has become necessary to transfer the monopoly right of the National Tobacco Enterprise , as Tobacco Enterprise ( Ethiopia ) Share company ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 ( 1 ) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Transfer of the Monopoly Right of the National Tobacco Enterprise to the National Tobacco Enterprise ( Ethiopia ) share Com pany proclamation No. 181/1999 . ” 2. Transfer of Monopoly Right 1 ) The Monopoly right of the National Tobacco Enter prise in respect of the purchase , preparation , manu facture , sale , import and export of tobacco and tobacco products , as stipulated in Article 2 and 9 of its establishment proclamation No. 37/1992 , is hereby transferred to the National Tobacco Enter INegarit G.POBox 80,001 Unit Price The African Law Archive 2 ) The relevant provisions of Articles 10-13 of Proclamation No. 37/1992 shall remain in force and apply to the enforcement of the monopoly right transferred to National Tobacco Enterprise ( Ethiopia ) Share Company pursuant to Sub - Article ( 1 ) of this Article . 3. Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force as of the date of registration of the National Tobacco Enterprise ( Ethiopia ) Share Company in the commercial register and shall remain in force at least for 10 years thereafter .
