A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE CONVENTION FOR THE PROTECTION AND PROMOTION OF THE DIVERSITY OF CULTURAL EXPRESSIONS
WHEREAS, Ethiopia has signed the Convention for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural 2005 and the Convention stipulates that it shall come into force after the member states of UNESCO ratify the Convention in accordance with their respective constitutional procedures and deposit with the Director - General of UNESCO ;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples ' Representatives ratified the said Convention at it's session held on the

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
