OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 5 Year No. 34 ADDIS ABABA - 96 Febraury 1999 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 154/1999 African Development Fund Loan Agreement for financing the Primary Health Care Services Project Ratification Proclamation Page 979 PROCLAMATION NO . 154/1999 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE LOAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT FUND WHEREAS , a Loan Agreement , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Develop ment fund stipulating that the African Development Fund amount of UA 29,670,000 ( twenty nine million six hundred በአፍሪካልማት ፈንድመካከል እኤአዴሴምበር፲፯ቀን ፲፱፻፵፰ | seventy thousand Unitsof Account ) for financing the Primary Health Care Services Project , was signed in Abidjan on the 17 day of December , 1998 ; WHEREAS , basic economic international agreements have to be ratified prior to entry into force ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows ; 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ African De velopment Fund Loan Agreement for financing the Primary Health Care Services Project Ratification Proclamation No. 154/1999 ” Unit Price The African Law Archive Definition In this Proclamation “ Loan Agreement ' ' means the Loan Agreement No.F / ETH / PRI - HEA 98/42 , signed in Abidjan on the 17 " day of December , 1998 between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Development Fund . Power of the Minister of Finance The Minster of Finance is hereby empowered to under take all acts necessary for the utilisation of the loan amount of UA 29,670,000 ( twenty nine million six hundred seventy thousand Units of Account ) in accor dance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Loan Agreement . 4. Effective Date This Proclamation shall come into force as of the 9th day of February , 1999 . Done at Addis Ababa , this 9 day of Febraury , 1999 .
