WHEREAS, considering that the economic development of the Empire of Ethiopia requires a further extension and improvement of the highways of the country; and
WHEREAS, Loan and Credit Agreements have been ex ecuted on January 15, 1968 between the Imperial Ethiopian Government and:
the International Bank for Reconstruction and Devel opment for the amount of U.S. $ 13,500,000 (Thirteen Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dol

the International Development Association for the amount of U.S. $ 7,700,000 (Seven Million Seven Hun dred Thousand United States Dollars), and
the Kingdom of Sweden for the amount of U.S. $ 5,800,000 (Five Million Eight Hundred Thounsand United States Dollars); and
WHEREAS, our chamber of Deputies and Senate have approved the said Loan and Credit Agreement; and
WHEREAS, We on this 13th day of June 1968 have ratified the said Loan and Credit Agreements ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 30, 34, 88 and 119 of Our Revised Constitution, We approve the resolutions of Our Chamber of Deputies and Se nate and We hereby proclaim as follows:
