PROCLAMATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF HIGH COURTS AND AWRAJA COURTS OF THE PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA
WHEREAS the principal objective of the People's Demo cratic Republic of Ethiopia is to lay down a firm foundation for building a new society in which justice, equality and prosperity prevail ;

NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 63 (1) (a) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " High Courts and Awraja Courts Establishment Proclamation No. 24/1988 ".
