WHEREAS , the Govermment of Ethiopia has consis security and the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation among states ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of Ratification of the International Convention Against the December , 2002 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Democratic Republic of Ethiopia , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ International Convention Against the Taking of Hostages ( 1979 ) Ratification Proclamation No. 304/2002 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive 2. Ratification of the Convention The International Convention Against the Taking of Hostages adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on the 17th day of December , 1979 is ratified . 3.
