Page . 2935 PROCLAMATION NO423 / 2004 A Proclamation to ratify the Agreement signed on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments with the Islamic Republic of Iran WHEREAS , an Agreement on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments between the October 2003 ; WHEREAS , it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the last notification of either entry in to force measures in accordance with its laws ; WHEREAS , the House of the People's NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Unit Price The African Law Archive 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as “ Reciprocal Promotion Protection Investments Agreement with The Islamic Republic of Iran Ratification Proclamation No. 423/2004 . ” 2. Ratification of the Agreement The Agreement on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments Signed in Addis Ababa on 21 October 2003 between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is ratified . 3. Responsibility of the Ethiopian Investment Commission The Ethiopian Investment Commission is hereby empowered to implement this Agreement . 4. Effective Date This Proclamation shall come into force as of the 15th day of November , 2004 . Done at Addis Ababa , this 15th day of November , 2004 .
