A SPECIAL DECREE TO PROVIDE FOR TRANSACTION TAX AND CUSTOMS TARIFF APPLICABLE TO THE PREFERENTIAL TRADE AREA FOR EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICAN STATES

WHEREAS the Council of Ministers of the Preferent Trade Area has on the 31st day of March 1987, decided on three - tier tariff deduction, by member states, for commodit included in the Common List ;

WHEREAS the Council of State of the People's Democra Republic of Ethiopia has approved said tariff reductions at session held on the 25th day of November 1988 ;
NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 83 (1) the Constitution, it is hereby decreed as follows:
1. Short Title
This Special Decree may be cited as the " Transaction ' I and Customs Tariff Applicable to the Preferential Tra Area for Eastern and Southern African States Council State Special Decree No. 7/1989 ".
