A PROCLAMATION TORATIFY THE TREATY ON THE RECIPROCAL PROMOTION AND PROTECTION OF INVESTMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY WHEREAS , the Treaty on the Reciprocal Promotion Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Turkey is signed in WHEREAS , it is stipulated in the Treaty that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channel ; WHEREAS , the House of the Peoples ' Representatives the said Treaty at its session held on 8th day of April , 2003 . NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows . Short Title This proclamation may be cited as " The Treaty on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investment with the Republic of Turkey Ratification Proclamation No. 323/2003 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive 2. Ratification of the Treaty The Treaty on Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investment signed in Addis Ababa on November 16 , 2000. between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Turkey is ratified . 3. Responsibility of the Ethiopian Investment Authority The Ethiopian Investment Authority is hereby em powered to implement this Treaty .
