A DECREE TO RATIFY THE CONVENTION ESTABLISHING THE MULTILATERAL INVESTMENT
GUARANTEE AGENCY
“ ETHIOPIA TIKDEM ” WHEREAS Ethiopia has , on the 21st day of September , 1990 , signed the Convention Establishing the Multilateral Investment
Guarantee Agency ;
WHEREAS the Council of State of the People's Democratic
Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Convention ;
NOW THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 82 ( 3 ) of
the Constitution , it is hereby decreed as follows :
Short Title
This Decree may be cited as the “ Convention Establish
ing the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency Rati
fication Council of State Decree No. 39/1990 . ”
2. Ratification of the Convention
The Convention Establishing the Multilateral Investment
Guarantee Agency is ratified .
3. Effective Date
This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its pub
