NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the " convention Concerning Prohibition and immediate Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of child Labour Ratification Proclamation No. 335/2003 . " 2. Ratification of the Convention The Convention Concerning Prohibition and immediate action for the elimination of the worst forms of child labour No. 182 adopted by International Labour con ference at its eighty - seventh session held on June , 1999 is hereby ratified . Power of the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the implementation of the convention . 4.
